Oh how the time flies! My sweet handsome Talmy boy turned 4 last week. We had a fun day that started with a trip to the pool with our friends the Barlow's. Talmage had a great time with their daughter Ginny who is his age, and Kait and Rush (their baby) had a good time splashing as well. And Mckayla of course loves the water, so much so that she didn't want to go to school today so she could stay in longer. That should tell you her level of love for the water!
Ok, had to throw this pic in of Kait because she just makes the cutest darn faces.
Afterwards we met Jennifer and Adrienne and Parker Elgan at Arctic Circle for a little lunch playdate. The kids had a great time playing. We brought brownie bites for treats for everyone which worked really well. No silverware needed, little mess because they're bite size, and they were yummy!
Ginny and Adrienne (and Michelle and Jennifer) were so sweet to bring Talm a present. As Talmage was opening Adrienne's present Ginny said "It's a fire breathing dragon!!!". So funny! You have understand Ginny just loves Sleeping Beauty and Talm is always her prince when they play together. As Michelle put it "
If Ginny is in Maleficent-mode, Talmage will fight her to the death. If she is Princess Aurora, he will invite her to dance. She loves that about him." So sweet!
Anyway, Adrienne was so nice to get Talm a Mack truck from the movie Cars that he loves so much. This is no ordinary Mack though, this Mack opens up into a deluxe Lightning home away from home complete with an entertainment system, car wash bath, gas pump, repair bay, etc. He LOVES it!
Then he went to open Ginny's present, and guess what it was?
A FIRE BREATHING DRAGON!!! Yep! I laughed so hard. She loved giving it to him, he loves playing with it. So great! Nice work Ginny ;)
Top to bottom, L to R: Ginny, Adrienne, Talmy, Rush, Parker, Kait
I'm so grateful for such great friends we have. Michelle and Jennifer and I have all had babies at the same time, we've been connected through visiting teaching, our kids have always played together. They've helped so much watching the kids for me.
Thanks for everything guys!
