Kaitlyn's 6th Birthday

Sweet Kaity lady is 6 today!  She was born on a Sunday morning and in a hurry!  Mckayla and Talm were both 12 hour labors so I figured I'd have similar with her. Note to self - when waters break it's baby time!  My water broke at 6:30am and labor progressed quick but without me believing I could be close. We threw the kids in the car the second Jer got home from a church meeting he was only at for 20 minutes and raced across town to the birth center with Mckayla as my doula. I climbed into the empty tub and when it was full she was born 25 minutes after we got there with just a few good pushes. We enjoyed some quiet sunny morning hours in the birth center with our little family and moms and midwife. It was great

Since then she's become our responsible, reliable, beautiful blue eyed beauty. She loves to dress up and be a fashion diva and ride her bike and play with friends and her siblings. She is an excellent big sister. She is loving kindergarten and is great at math. 

We love our Kaity bug so much and are so glad her wait for her birthday is finally over. She's been so excited!  She had a super fun Frozen birthday yesterday and has asked me a dozen times today how long till family comes over. Love our Kaitlyn!!

She was star at the week at school this week and this was the poster she made about herself and got to present it to her class and answer their questions about her. 

Let everything Frozen and Elsa commence!

She was so excited for her friends to come including this girl from school and Parker from our old neighborhood. Thanks to his mom Jennifer for her help at the party and organizing our toy area!

My sister has always been great about sending the kids birthday packages and this one did not disappoint. Love seeing my precious Kaity smile like this. Melt my heart.  Happy birthday baby girl!
