Kid updates

Time for some kid pics and updates.  Nothing too exciting going on around here.  Mckayla is doing great in 1st grade and is enjoying taking the bus home 2-3 days a week now.  Talmage is doing great in preschool and it's really neat to see him learning so much.  I love to watch him draw and do coloring book activities.  Kaitlyn is her own little Diva self.  Love her to pieces but she sure can be high maintenance.  She loves to go to her preschool too, even if it's only taking Talmage or staying for play time.  We really need to get that girl into a real preschool come the fall when Talm's in Kindergarten.

So without further adu, here are just some random pics from the last couple months that I like.

We took this the day of the big 'blizzard' of 2010', that turned out to be nothing but a sciff of snow.  Kait was well prepared though  :)
Man they're getting big!
Mckayla has started wearing tank tops (what few she has) over long sleeve shirts and oh my gosh, she's getting so old!
We usually drive to get Mckayla from school or the bus, but decided to walk last week.
It was a great spring day with the gutters full of running water.  Talmy put a leaf in and followed it a good 1/2 mile down the road.  Sweet boy.
The diva herself.  Arms behind her head, legs crossed, and asleep.....in my bed  :)
I struggle with Mckayla's hair.  It doesn't like to hold curl for me.  But after watching a few episodes of 'Toddlers and Tiaras', a show about little girl beauty pageants, we decided to attempt pageant hair today with the hot rollers.  I have to say I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.  She's so pretty!

Oh and it was so cute.  We were at church today and Kaity saw a little baby girl in her blessing dress and she said "Oh mom, she's beautiful!"  So tender!  She loved commenting on her pretty dress and little white shoes and how cute she was.  It was neat to see her recognize and say those things without me saying anything.   Then during Sacrament she had some competition for what she was playing with from the cute little crawling infant son Sam of my friend Michelle.  I think Kait would be excited to have another baby around, but for how long is the question  :)
